London Real is a weekly, one hour video podcast documenting the journey of Brian Rose & Nic Gabriel as they challenge the status quo, explore the human experience, and exchange ideas and perspectives with their guests in one of the most exciting and diverse cities on the planet.

Our goal is to expand your consciousness and experience a new mindframe, to confront your fears and to celebrate the triumph.

We don’t have all of the answers, but we do have all of the questions.

London Real, it’s about the journey.

The podcast genre of entertainment is a new medium that people are just now beginning to understand.  What makes our program so exciting is that it is one hour of unedited, unscripted commentary and dialoge where anything can happen.  No topic is off limits and the conversation is allowed to organically grow into something unique.  It’s only a matter of time until the video podcast form of entertainment begins to complement traditional media like television and movies.  The realness of frank discussion is an extremely attractive and addictive form of media.

Weekly London Video Webcast Enjoys Early Success as Relationships, Politics, Philosophy and Sex are Debated with Unconventional Guests

No subject is considered taboo as two successful Londoners bring their wide-ranging experiences and eclectic social circles together to create a unique video talk show that explores spirituality, money, politics, and social norms.

London, UK (PRWEB UK) 17 November 2011

Brian Rose and Nic Gabriel have created London Real, a weekly one hour video podcast documenting their journey as they challenge the status quo, explore the human experience, and exchange ideas and perspectives with their guests in one of the most exciting and diverse cities on the planet.

This week they host Stephen Brocklehurst, an actor and producer who discusses his upcoming film “The Enfield Poltergeist” and reminisces about his two years spent in the City of London as an investment banker. “We don’t have all of the answers, but we do have all of the questions” states co-host Nic Gabriel, who was born in South Africa but moved to London to pursue his black belt in the martial art Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. “Our goal is to expand your consciousness and experience a new mind frame, to confront your fears and to celebrate the triumph.”

“The podcast genre of entertainment is a new medium that people are just now beginning to understand” explains co-host Brian Rose, a native of San Diego and retired derivatives broker in the City of London. “It used to be you get home from work and turn on the TV. Not anymore, people today want to listen to real people having real conversations about real topics, and that is the essence of London Real.”

In just over four weeks since its debut, the show has already attracted a cult following with thousands both watching the video and listening to the audio portion on iTunes. Past guests include an Iranian refugee who became one of the founders of Sony-Ericsson, one of London’s top cocktail barmen, and an SAS veteran of two tours of Afghanistan.

“Our guests are Londoners from all walks of life. We’re not concerned about success or careers, the pre-requisite is that they’re interesting and open.” said Gabriel.

    Hi Nic and Brian.
I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate finding you and listening to your podcasts. After growing up just outside London I moved to BC, Canada in 2004. I arrived back in London last year after almost 7 years away from the culture, the chit chat, the grit and beauty that is London.

I travel away for a few weeks at a time with a snowboard team and so load up my podcasts to listen while away, so have listened to your chat all across Europe… I listened to the doctor and facing death while travelling through a wind blown pass in deep snow from Austria to Switzerland, wine making and selling while running up a mountain in Bavaria, nightclub owning on a chairlift in Germany, last week Pakistani food and naked art on a treadmill in Oslo!

You guys chat the stuff I love listening too. I join in on a regular basis and then realise I’m just talking to myself. My brain gets stimulated in a way that it has craved after being on the barren west coast of Canada all that time. I’m also a yogi that has recently got into teaching yoga. My own path has gone from one of black and white school based science to ‘oh my god what have I been missing out on’ spiritualism! I’m a newcomer to thinking this way so adore the gems that you guys delve into. Keep doing what you are doing because it’s ace! I have written a review on iTunes short but sweet and have recommended you to all my friends.

I work as a sports physio with all sorts of athletes and I am now beginning my own business in London. I appreciate your venture and success and feel that I am starting something that I’m not quite sure what it’s going to be, very similarly to London Real I think! With all the ju-jitsu you both do I’m sure you have the odd aches and pains so give me a shout if you need anything looking at! My website is http://www.oneillphysio.com. It’s a basic website, work in progress, soon to have better branding, image and PR… You know how it is.. it’s all about the journey!

      Helen what awesome feedback!

I’m trying to picture to you in all of these strange and exotic places while you listen to us and our strange and exotic guests! It’s hard to believe that our musings here in London can reach so many different types of people in so many places around the world.

Yes Nic and I do get our fair share of injuries so will keep you in mind next time we do, I check out your site, looks great, simple yet very professional.

How did you find us and do you mind if I post your comment on our Facebook page? We’re at http://www.facebook.com/LondonReal

      All the best,

      Brian & Nic.

Love your podcasts. I have one suggestion though. The microphones that you use are very clear, but they’re not for your guests. I find myself turning the volume up when your guests speak and then having to turn it down when you do.
Keep up the good work. Your podcasts are very entertaining and thought provoking.

Thanks Holleigh, we’ll keep an eye on the mix and make sure everyone has equal volume, it’s tricky sometimes as I start off loud and then quiet down a bit! Cheers and thanks for watching, Brian.

Heard of you through Joe Rogan’s podcast and delved deeper. Downloaded all of your audio ‘casts and have been listening to them, in order, ever since. You aim to have a set up like Rogan’s, I want to have a set up like yours. You two and your guests make life a little bit better. Best compliment I can give.
